Colin D. Smith is an experienced New York attorney with more than two decades of practice in the state’s courts. His career reflects a broad foundation in both civil and criminal law, giving him the perspective and judgment to provide clients with steady, practical guidance.

 

From 2003 to 2005, Colin served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, where he gained firsthand insight into trial practice and courtroom advocacy. He went on to spend the next decade with litigation firms throughout the Hudson Valley, handling matters in criminal defense, family and matrimonial law, wills and estates, real estate, and bankruptcy.

 

Since 2015, Colin has focused his practice primarily on estate planning, wills and trusts, and probate. Based in Westchester, he is committed to helping individuals and families safeguard their legacies and navigate the estate process with clarity and confidence.

Colin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Cedarville University (1996) and his Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law (2003).
